Schoelles & Associates chosen as Chamber spotlight of the month

Schoelles and Associates has been in business for 44 years and has been a member of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years. Schoelles and Associates is owned and operated by Pam Schoelles, along with her daughter Carin and son-in-law, Tommy Daniels. They are a family owned and operated accounting and tax preparation business specializing in proactive tax planning. They craft tax strategies that are customized to their clients’ business and goals. These tax strategies provide their clients with what they need to reduce their taxes legally, without red flags, gray areas, or overly aggressive positions. All three of the family members, in the firm, are Enrolled Agents; having passed comprehensive testing by the IRS to determine their knowledge in taxation of individuals and entities. Pam and Tommy have also attained the Certified Tax Coach designation from the American Institute of Certified Tax Planners. In 2016, Pam received the national Certified Tax Coach of the year award. When speaking of this current tax season and the circumstances we are all facing, Pam stated, "This tax season has presented unusual challenges to our business. Even though we have not been open to the public since April 2, technology has enabled us to continue to serve our clients needs, exchange documents securely, and capture signatures as needed to e-file returns. We want to keep our staff and clients safe and we greatly appreciate the extra cooperation of everyone. We also have a secure drop box at our office and can receive documents at P.O. Box 569, Madison. If we can help you meet the July 15th deadline please contact us to discuss the option that is best for you. Stay safe!" Schoelles and Associates is open Monday through Friday from from 9 AM to 5 PM but closed from 12 to 1 for lunch. They are closed on both Saturday and Sunday.
